Barrister’s wigs stolen: According to reports in the London Evening Standard, an Old Bailey security guard was caught stealing from some of Britain’s top barristers in a police sting. An undercover operation was launched after lawyers complained that mobile phones, cash and even their wigs were going missing from the robing room at the court. The article says that City of London detectives rigged up cameras and left £100 of photocopied dummy banknotes in a wallet as bait, whilst they watched Mr. Ifamuyiwa

Hair donations to charity: In Tampabay, Florida, Jerry Brown Jr, aged 14, had 23 inches of his hair cut off to donate to the Locks of Love Charity. Acccording to the local
newspaper reports, he grew his hair long in honour of his Cherokee Heritage, but decided to cut it off and learn the Cherokee language instead. This was the first time that his hair had been cut since he was born! Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to children in the United States who suffer from medical hair loss.
