Company Policy

Making a purchase:

It's easy to make a purchase. Simply look through our on line catalogue and click on any items that you wish to purchase and put them into the shopping basket. You will be able to remove them easily before completing of your order. After you have finished your selection, click on the 'Checkout' button and you will be taken through the on line ordering process through the Barclays EPDQ secure server. There is a printable order form in the information section if you prefer to pay for any items by cheque or bankers draft or don't wish to enter your credit card details on line. Upon making a purchase, you agree to accept the following terms and conditions.

Returns Policy:

You have the right to cancel an order within seven (7) days, starting from the day after receiving the goods. If you are unsure as to which product would be the most suitable for your needs, then please contact us and we can advise you further. Items that are not advertised on the web site can be ordered in as special orders and these are non refundable because we are ordering in this item especially for you. This also applies to any wigs ordered in from abroad (Gisela Mayer, Jon Renau, Ellen Wille) whether they are shown on the web site or not. Also items manufactured specifically for a customer can't be refunded nor cosmetic items due to hygiene reason..

If you do wish to cancel or exchange an item in your order, please notify us as soon as possible. All products must be returned to us in an unused and resalable condition complete with packaging within 7 days of receipt. We reserve the right not to refund either in whole or in part the price of the products if they have been used or damaged whilst in your possession or any of these terms and conditions are not met. We are sorry but the postage is non-refundable on returns, as this is a service cost.
Prior to returning the products you must contact us. All products must be returned to us at your cost and we suggest using a recorded or special delivery service, as parcels can be traced whilst in the postal system. We cannot accept any liability for products lost or damaged in transit. If the products were provided in error we will refund the postage cost in addition to any refunds. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

PLEASE NOTE: Any wigs or hairpieces that are returned that smell of tobacco, perfume or food smells will NOT be refunded under any circumstances, unless they are proved to be faulty, as these can't be resold. Likewise any wig that has been cut or styled or been brushed extensively can't be refunded. For hygiene reasons, hairpieces or extensions that have been attached to the hair in any way cannot be exchanged or refunded. Please note only one wig or hairpiece (the cheapest one) can be refunded per order, do not order more than two items to choose from, as any ordered over that amount will only be exchanged and not refunded.

Due to the costs involved in buying in wigs, we only allow customers to exchange up to two wigs, should they find that they have purchased the wrong one. We are a mail order company only and in the business of selling wigs to customers and not in the business of buying in wigs for customers to look at, as this becomes very expensive on our part!

Offers, discounts and promotions:

Our offers change each week, so ensure that you don't miss out by visiting us regularly to check that the wig you need is on offer. Only one offer can be used at any one time and no offer can be used in conjunction with any other offer. Only one discounted amount can be used at any given time on a wig.
For those customers who are entitled to the VAT relief, they are also eligible for the price reduction offers, and the VAT relief is calculated from the offer price. If a wig is returned, for exchange, then the price reduction offer can be transferred to the new wig, as long as the wig is being exchanged for is of the same brand or that week's offer has changed to the new brand to which the wig is being exchanged to.
Some wig brands will carry a free item as part of a promotion. The free item is therefore associated with that item and is given free for purchasing that wig brand or item. If the wig is returned for a refund, then the free item must also be returned as you are not entitled to keep the free item as the wig with which the free item is associated is being returned. If the wig is being exchanged, then as long as the replacement wig also carries the said free item, then you can retain the free item, so long as you intend to keep the replacement wig. Your sales receipt will tell you the retail price of the free item. If you return the wig and not the free item, then we reserve the right to charge you the retail price for that free item, as we would therefore assume that it is you intention to purchase the item. The free item must be returned, completely intact, unopened, unused and uneaten in the same condition as it was sent out in, as per our returns policy for wigs and other items. There is only one free item per order and each free item can also be purchased separately in any quantity from the accessories section.

Faulty Products:

Any claim for delivery shortages or damages must be reported to us within a few days following delivery.

If any item is defective, we will exchange it or make a refund. However, you must notify us of your intention to return the product to us within 7 days following delivery. All products must be returned to us at your cost and we suggest using a recorded or special delivery service, as parcels can be traced whilst in the postal system. We cannot accept any liability for products lost or damaged in transit.
We do not accept liability for any injury caused by your use of any of the products supplied to you.

Privacy Statement:

Client confidentiality is important to us. All our packages are marked with your address and a returns label of Wigtopia (TGC Group), Unit 106, 9 St. Johns Street, Colchester CO2 7NN only. There are NO indications of the content within the package except for customs purposes for overseas orders and all packages will be marked theatrical supplies. No other advertising is on the packaging. Your credit card bill will show a reference of 'TGC Group' for any purchases made through this on-line ordering service.
We do not use any of your contact details for any purpose other than to deal with your order and customer details are strictly confidential and never passed onto any third party or used in any mail shots.

Delivery:

All prices quoted exclude delivery and non-UK taxes. A delivery charge will be added to your order at the time of purchase. If you are placing an order for delivery outside the UK, delivery will be made by first class air mail postage. If you are placing an order for delivery within the UK, you may choose between first class or special delivery. We recommend that all UK orders exceeding £35 are sent to you by special delivery, as these can be traced through the postal system and is the most reliable service offered by the Royal Mail.
We aim to deliver your order as soon as possible subject to availability of stocks. We will normally send your order to you in 4 business days. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery, particularly at busy periods. We cannot accept any liability for products lost or damaged in transit. If you are concerned about progress with your order for any reason please feel free to contact us via e-mail.

Duty & Customs in your country:

We cannot estimate customs and import duties (if applicable) in your country. If import duty is to be paid before your customs authorities release the goods to you, it is your responsibility to pay these duties and taxes. Wigtopia (TGC Group) cannot be held responsible for customs charges and any delays due to payment not being made in your country.

Billing:

You will not be billed for any goods until the following day after placing an Internet order, as all transactions are processed at the end of the day by the Barclays EPDQ system. All billing will appear on your credit card or bank statement as 'TGC Group' only.
